The guests and judges of this competition are Zhao Tianyu, Principal of the Faculty, Ren Wei, Curriculum Leader of Western Australia, Chen Wenli, Cambridge Curriculum Leader, James, and all teachers of the language group.

At the beginning of the competition, Principal Zhao talked about the importance of English learning to the students. Having a solid foundation in English and using English proficiently is the call of the times to students today. I hope all the contestants will show their superb English literacy and win the competition with their excellent speeches!

22 outstanding students from all grades and classes decided the order of speeches by drawing lots. The contestants have different styles, some are fresh and natural, smooth and confident, some are enthusiastic and impassioned, and some are calm and sophisticated, full of aura. The contestants talked freely around the theme of the speech, expressing their most sincere and beautiful views on their dreams.

After each student's speech, the foreign teacher James asked questions on the spot according to the speech content. The short answer session demonstrated the good ability of the contestants to respond on the spot, and also allowed the students to discuss the topic in more depth.
